Welcome to Mrs. Warner's 8th Grade

Language Arts website!

We are currently entering our Shakespeare Unit!

We will be learning about the time period in which Shakespeare lived- both socially and historically- and how it influenced his writing. Students will also learn the value of Shakespeare's unique presentation of writing through structure and rhyme schemes. We will expand our vocabulary horizons and focus on the language of Shakespeare's time as well. Students will understand that despite the passage of time, Shakespeare's themes and ideas are still applicable to their own modern lives.

If they are on and make a noise or vibrate or otherwise call attention to themselves, the device is creating a disruption.

These items must be in the off position and be kept out of sight. Misuse of electronic devices may result indiscipline procedures in addition to the confiscation of the device.
